Wearing | Beaches

Happy June everyone. I cannot believe that it has actually hit the middle of the year. Anyways, I am here with an OOTD post today and I am definitely loving this little ensemble.

I have paired this shoulder-less crop top with my high waisted skinnies and chunky sandals. I know shoulder-less tops were popular last year but I am enjoying this long sleeved, beachy, lightweight crop from H&M at just £14.99! My jeans are also from H&M and are very similar to Topshop Joni's but at half the price. I adore these white chunky sandals from LA Moda. I throw them on with literally everything and they are bang on trend this season. All links with be listed below to what I can find!

Crop Top - H&M
Jeans - H&M

Wearing | Neon And On And On

I am not usually a neon wearer as it reminds me too much of those clubland days. Although, as the summer is creeping it's way into the UK, I decided that this coord was totally acceptable. Bright and bold is always better than dull and boring. Agreed?

Co ordinate - Bank
Platforms - Kurt Geiger
Clutch - (No idea, borrowed from a friend sorry)
Rings - Various
Lips - MAC's Candy Yum Yum

Okay, I wore this for a night out with my best friends on Friday night. I LOVE IT and I hope you find it quite interesting too. I could have paired this loud two piece with a more neutral shade of bag but knowing me I went for colour blocking with a hot pink clutch! My nails are also a cheapy stick on pack from Primark and they stuck so well. There were black with pink pokadots (sorry for no close up). My Nanettes from Kurt Geiger are always good for pairing with any outfit.

Let me know what you guys think! Would you like to see some more personal fashion posts?

The Best Of... H&M

It's no secret to anyone that I'm a huge fan of H&M. It's the first place I head to when I'm in need of a new blouse, shorts or jewellery when I don't want to spend too much money. I will be introducing a series on my blog filled with posts on the best fashion and beauty items from my go-to stores/websites. I am kick starting the posts with The Best Of... H&M as they cater for different ages and people with different styles whilst staying fashionable and affordable.

For SS14 they have a wide variety of amazing pieces! Although I prefer to shop in their stores, when shopping online they create a style guide for you by listing products to match the item you are viewing and also give you similar items if the item you are viewing is out of stock/not in your size. Genius! I will be showcasing just what I mean in the following photographs.

*As always, click the links under the photos to take you directly to the items!*

Powder Blue Blouse
White Jeans
Sandals

My personal favourites from H&M are their summer dresses, accessories, swimwear, gym gear, crop tops, jeans and jewellery which I highly recommend. Click here to view their full website.

H&M also have an exciting collaboration lauching in November of this year. Alexander Wang will be teaming up with them to design and retail what I can imagine will be beautiful creations. I for one cannot wait for that.

Stay tuned for frequent posts on The Best Of... You might find a new place to shop for many occasions!!!

Self Confessed ShopaHAULic

I can never seem to help myself when I walk into Superdrug and Boots. I always find myself buying things I don't need, but since I haven't had the luxury of either stores in Australia it was only fair to pop in and pick up a few things when I returned. Of course, when I made this purchase they hadn't started the 3 for 2 deals yet. Just my luck. Anyway, I thought I would start up a 'Self Confessed ShopaHAULic' series on my blog so let me show you what I picked up last week.

SKIN CARE & BASE:

I have ran out of my daily moisturiser so I purchased my trusty Simple Kind To Skin - Replenishing moisturiser. My skin isn't sensitive nor does it need a deep moisturise so I find that Simple does the trick. Its basic, cheap and doesn't leave a greasy residue.

I have heard a lot of positive reviews on the Boots Botanics range lately so picked up the Iconic Clay Mask - Shine Away and the Purifying Face Scrub - All Bright. I have tested out both products and I am really happy with the results. I won't give too much away as I might do a full review on the Botanics Range soon.

Next we have the new Nude Magique Blur Cream from L'Oreal in Light to Medium. I have ran out of my Benefit Porefessional and I did love it. Although, I don't think it's worth the £23 for the small tube you get. I find the Blur Cream almost identical to Porefessional - if not better! I'm obsessed so far.

PALETTES:

The top palette is MUA's new x10 Matte palette. I really like the range of warm and cool toned neutrals so picked this up for £4!

Sleek's palettes are always gorgeous but this Showstoppers iDivine palette is something else. It was released as part of Superdrugs 50 Years anniversary. I love the variety of matte and shimmer shades and I've already created a few looks with it.

OTHER BITS:

I actually picked up this Argan Oil hair mask in Primark for £2. I love hair treatments and I will be testing out this sachet sample to determine whether or not to buy the full tub!

Rimmel's Stay Matte powder is a staple in many beauty guru's make up collections. I am verrry late to the party with this one but I have been loving it so far.

I couldn't resist this lipstick from Beauty UK in the shade Gossip Girl. It's a hot pink shade with purple iridescent shimmers throughout.

There we have it guys. Let me know if you would like to see a review on any of products mentioned!

Trending: Co-Ordinate's

I highly doubt that I have been the only one crushing on the co-ords trend currently taking its spot in the world of fashion. They are delivered in many styles and by many brands, spotted on cat walks and our high street's. I personally prefer matching seperate items in an outfit over a dress. It's a little bit more creative. Therefore I thought I would put together this post to showcase some of my favourite's that I have had my eye on. Included will be a variety of various styles so there's bound to be something for everyone. I have quite a few to display but have shortlisted it to my top 15!

The A line & Flair Skirts

Dog Tooth Lilac A-line Skirt £14.99 - Missguided
Dog Tooth Lilac Crop Top £9.99 - Missguided

This Square Print in Monochrome outfit from Rare London is on trend and easy to accessorise. I have included this pretty pair of Dog Tooth Lilac Set that is easy to experiment with and mix and match with other pieces.

The Midi Skirt and Trouser

Floral Bandeau £12 | Floral Midi Skirt £15 - Boohoo
Green Craze Crop £21 | Green Craze Tube Skirt £19.60 - Stay Sick
Retro Vibes Tie Neck Crop £28.99 | Printed Joggers £31.99 - Stay Sick
High Neck Crop Top £14.99 | Curve Hem Midi Skirt £14.99 - Missguided

Two pieces are so effortless to wear but make a big statement. As you can see, you can go for a busy print if you want to keep it fun and upbeat or simple with a neutral colour such as this elegant High Neck Crop & Curve Hem Midi from Missguided.

The Shorts & Skorts

Brocade Print High Neck Crop £19.99 | Shorts (Not in stock) - Missguided
Sequin Box Top £35 | High Waist Sequin Shorts £35 - Oh My Love

I just had to feature this Brocade Print Blue Set despite that the shorts currently sold out. The straight cut edges create a more classic, defined look for a formal event. The Sequin Box Top & Shorts are definitely my favourite co-ordinates. They look so edgy and quirky paired together and would also work well with alternatives.

The Bodycon Skirts

Pink Dogtooth Skirt £14.99 | Pink Dogtooth Crop Top £14.99 - Missguided
Paint Mark Tube Skirt £22 | Paint Mark Crop £18 - Motel Rocks

I am not usually a fan of bodycon skirts, but I couldn't resist these cute pieces. They are also in two superior trends at the moment - Pastel and Monocrome. Spaghetti straps have also been making an appearance on a few of the tops I have chosen. As well as aysemmetric skirts which are unusual and really popular.

Have you been loving any co-ordinate pieces lately?
